Alright....perhaps we spoke too soon.
Ok Ok. It has now rained a little, and it is rather miserable when it does. Perhaps they're not that whingy after all.
We caught up with cousin T (my cousin from South Africa who lives here) and chris (her partner) last night - they cooked us a lovely roast at their apartment in Fullham. It was great to catch up, and to get some tips from some locals. We'll be catching up again soon I'm sure.
We also moved into our new room this morning - the house and the area are not as nice as we'd hoped, but we can now relax and look for something better and get a better idea of the different areas around London.
Anyway, gotta run. Hope everyone is well.

Hey Leigh,
Yes indeed, I think we had unusually good weather for the first few days, and now we're getting paid back for it. It has been down right miserable, although I think we'll get better at preparing ourselves for the cold too. We have learnt - Never leave without thermal underwear, gloves, umbrella, boots, warm socks and of course a rather large jacket. You'd be surprised how thinking you can get away without one of these on a seemly clear day and leave you very regretful.
Anyway, hope uni and the Metr Lab is going well, and say hi to cal for me.
